Sept 30, 2024, is the fourth annual increase in the minimum wage to $13.00 an hour & $9.98 for tipped employees.

This is part of the state’s requirement to get the minimum wage to $15.00 an hour as per the 2020 voter approved referendum. By 2026, the minimum wage will reach $15.00 an hour.

Have you filed a return with the IRS and still waiting for them to process it? Well, the good news is that the IRS is trying to clear out the backlog of unprocessed returns.
